About Astrology
Astrology is a science related to the heavenly bodies. It is the study of the movements and positions of the sun, moon, planets and stars, and the skill of describing the expected effect that these are believed to have on the character and behavior of humans. Astrology is not at all a fortune telling. It is one of the successfully tested methods for man to learn about who he is, where he came from and where he is going. Astrology reveals CHARACTER and character makes your destiny.
The main uses of astrology are analysis of health and sickness, character psychoanalysis, professional guidance, analysis of children’s horoscopes so as to give parents a better idea as to how best to raise their children, and analysis of the compatibilities between people.
Astrology does not show anything but tendencies. A man can dominate his stars by exerting his determination. If a man decides to flow with the wave of life, then the tendencies indicated in the birth chart could be observed in that man. Astrology forewarns and being put on alert, a man is thus in a better position to cope with the struggles of life.
There are three aspects which bring to us the mystic message of the stars - the houses, the signs and the planets. Each house represents a section of life; the signs are divisions of the heavens which by their placement relative to the houses indicate our basic temperament and attitude towards life and the relative motion of the planets through the houses are the messengers of the god which bring to us the opportunities.
