First of all, I have most of these attributes, but I am very atypical in being a Virgo (I adore adventure and travelling, and with time I've learnt to tie down my critical tongue and accept that perfection, whilst wonderful, is also lacking in excitement and holds a person back from enjoying life), and I seem to keep falling for the Sagitarrius! (I fell for a Capricorn, earth signs tend to bore me, and I will always be connected to Cancers but...there are issues there too). So, this is the problem. I dated this Sag guy (I should mention, he is older, but having that characteristic of being child-like, you could never tell!) So we have this wonderful date, connected, sparks flew, and we became close very fast. Unfortunately, in the bedroom, he was unable to sustain performance (I didnt really want to go straight there, but once again, Sagittarius man will ALWAYS love sex!) and this was most likely due to the fact that he was sick with some kind of flu. So everything was still fine, I didn't mind and afterwards we were still very affectionate with each other and had a mutual understanding that this was going to be something. We arranged to have dinner at his place, but unfortunately I was very delayed and he got very very angry. So angry that he said he didn't want a relationship with me. After he calmed down, we had lunch, and I was there to explain to him that being late isn't a real reason to end things and that I really like him (which isnt too common for me, Virgo standards - some things can't be de-Virgo-ed). And he turned to me and sheepishly said that I was beautiful and have a great personality, but because of my weight (I have a small belly, not obese, just chubby) he wasn't "sexually attracted to me" - basically meaning he couldn't sustain himself because of my appearance. As a final year medical student, I know this to be not the case, this is not how a man's sexual arousal works (he cannot be turned off by the same thing that turned him on), but, I got over the hurt and tears and told him that I would be his friend still. So, now we're friends, we don't get to talk regularly because we're both busy, but just last night I was talking to him and we still have that connection. The conversation even becomes flirtatious! So what I need to know is, is that it? We're friends, just friends? There's no way he was maybe lying to himself, will change his mind, or maybe do what I thought the typical Sagittarius did, and see the person's soul and not be preoccupied with the looks? There are so many things I'm attracted to with this guy, I'm thick-skinned enough to tolerate and even respect his bluntness. I demand honesty, whether I'll like it or not, the fact that this guy will always be honest means that his compliments are real...and so are his more harsh opinions.
