Ingrid Birgitta Lindqvist, born on March 2, 1945, in Längbro, Örebro County, Sweden, is a Swedish author known for her debut poetry collection 'Odelbarhet' published in 1986. She has since published several works including poetry, short prose, children's and youth literature, as well as a few novels. In addition to her writing, she has worked as a translator. Lindqvist was married to author and journalist Herman Lindqvist from 1979 until their separation in 2014, and they have a daughter, Elin Lindqvist, who is also an author.
