Budi Santoso is an Indonesian conglomerate born on February 28, 1948, known for owning Suara Merdeka, the largest newspaper in Central Java. He served as a member of the Regional Representative Council of Indonesia from 2004 to 2009, representing Central Java. He is the son-in-law of H. Hetami, the founder of Suara Merdeka. Additionally, he established the Budi Santoso Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at contributing to the social, cultural, economic, and public service sectors in Central Java.
