Datuk Ir. Edmund Chong Ket Wah was a Malaysian politician born on April 9, 1956, in Sandakan, Sabah. He served as the Member of Parliament for Batu Sapi, representing the United Sabah Party within the Barisan Nasional coalition. Chong was a qualified Mechanical Engineer and held various positions including treasurer-general of PBS. He first won his parliamentary seat unopposed in 2004 and retained it in 2008. Tragically, he died in a motorcycle accident on October 9, 2010, leading to a by-election in his constituency.
