Georges Décimus, born on October 26, 1955, in Guadeloupe, is the bassist of the music group Kassav' since its inception. Before joining Kassav' in 1979, he played with the group Les Huntez’s. Décimus is known for discovering future Kassav' members and has collaborated with Jacob Desvarieux on influential albums like 'Yélélé' in 1984, which helped popularize the zouk genre. After leaving Kassav' in 1991 to form Volt-Face with Jeff Joseph, he returned in 2004 for Kassav's fourteenth album, 'Ktoz'.
