Hanna Kowalewska, born on April 18, 1960, in Wysokie Mazowieckie, is a Polish writer. After completing high school, she studied Polish philology at the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska. Kowalewska debuted in 1985 with her poem 'Żniwa'. She has won several awards for her literary works and has written radio dramas and screenplays. Notably, she won first prize for her novel 'Tego lata w Zawrociu' in 1997. She has been a member of the Association of Polish Writers since 1996.
