Harman Grisewood was an English radio actor, television executive, and writer, born on February 8, 1906. He was educated at Ampleforth College and Worcester College, Oxford. Joining the BBC in 1927, he became controller of the BBC Third Programme from 1948 to 1952 and conceptualized The Money Programme in 1966. Grisewood acted as the literary executor for poet David Jones and was honored with the CBE in 1960. He was also a Knight of Grace and Devotion of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. He passed away on January 8, 1997.
