Hiawatha Thompson Estes (1918–2003) was a notable California architect and author recognized for designing numerous variations of post-war ranch homes. He founded the Nationwide House Plan Book Company which marketed house plans to the public. Additionally, he published several books focused on residential architecture. A member of the Chickasaw Indian Nation, he was posthumously honored in 2019 with an induction into the Chickasaw Hall of Fame for his contributions.
