Inna Sergeevna Shcherbina-Samoylova was a Soviet and Russian astronomer, who held a PhD in physical and mathematical sciences. She was the head of the astronomy department at the All-Union Institute of Scientific and Technical Information under the State Committee of the Soviet Council of Ministers for Science and Technology and the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, where she worked since April 1953. She was a leading expert in the field of science informatics in both the USSR and Russia.
