Jani Niemi, also known as Jani Petri, is a Finnish musician and singer born on March 8, 1971, in Mänttä. His music career began at the Tampere City Theatre in the musical Somarillumarei. He played keyboards in Kika's backing band. Niemi's recording career started in 1996 when he released a single under the artist name Jani Petri. He subsequently released one album titled Onnenonkija.
