Juan José Salazar García is a Peruvian agronomist and politician born on February 18, 1947, in Distrito de Ferreñafe. He served as the Mayor of the province of Ferreñafe in two separate terms from 1987 to 1989 and again from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, he was a representative to the regional assembly of the Nororiental del Marañón Region and served as Minister of Agriculture during Alan García Pérez's second presidency. He is the founder of the Contigo Lambayeque movement.
