Miquel Milà i Sagnier was a Catalan industrial and interior designer born on February 7, 1931, in Barcelona. He was notable for being one of the few designers of his generation who was not an architect. Milà co-founded the company Tramo, creating renowned floor lamps such as TMC and TMM. He had a strong focus on craftsmanship in design and was an active member of ADI-FAD. His accolades include multiple Delta Awards and the Premio Nacional de Diseño in 1987. His work is preserved in the Museu del Disseny de Barcelona.
