Nadezhda Chernova is a Kazakh poet, translator, journalist, and literary scholar of Russian descent, born on January 15, 1947, in Bayanaul, Kazakhstan SSR, USSR. She is a member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan and has completed her education at the Faculty of Journalism at Kirov State University. Currently, she serves as the head of the poetry department at Prostor magazine.
