Nishioka Tsuneo was a prominent Japanese martial artist, known as the founder of the Sei Ryu Kai group within the Shinto Muso-ryu Jōdō tradition. Beginning his training at age 14, he dedicated his life to mastering the art under Shimizu Takaji. After earning his Menkyo Kaiden in 1975, he established Sei Ryu Kai to honor his teacher. Although he retired from active teaching in 2012, his teachings continue to be transmitted by his senior students, maintaining the lineage of this traditional martial art.
