Paulo de Tarso Sanseverino was a Brazilian jurist and magistrate who served as a Minister of the Superior Court of Justice from 2010 until his death in 2023. Appointed by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, he played a critical role in the highest appellate court for non-constitutional issues in Brazil. Sanseverino passed away at the age of 63 after battling cancer at a hospital in Porto Alegre.
