Rafiq Uddin Ahmed (30 October 1926 - 21 February 1952) was one of the protesters killed during the Bengali Language Movement in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) in 1952. He is regarded as a martyr in Bangladesh for his role in advocating for the recognition of the Bengali language. This movement was a pivotal moment in the cultural and political life of the Bengali people, leading to significant changes in national policies regarding language and identity.
