Roger Lumbala is a Congolese politician and former rebel leader, born in 1958. He serves as a Member of Parliament in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and was supported by Uganda during the Congolese civil war from 1998 to 2002. Lumbala was arrested in Paris over allegations of torture and cannibalism, and was officially indicted on November 6, 2023. The Paris Court of Appeal upheld the indictment for complicity in crimes against humanity on February 28, 2024.
