Saribekyan was recognized as an honored coach of the Armenian SSR and was instrumental in founding youth football in Armenia. He coached notable players such as Suren Martirosyan, Khoren Hovhannisyan, and Ashot Khachatryan. He passed away on July 15, 2020, in Yerevan, Armenia.
