T︠S︡vetan Angelov was a Bulgarian children's writer, born on January 28, 1922, and passed away on January 29, 1982. A member of the Bulgarian Communist Party since 1944 and the Union of Bulgarian Writers, he published under several pseudonyms including Kaktus, Kamen Ralev, and others. He authored around 70 books of stories, novellas, and poems for children and youth, many of which have been translated into multiple languages. He is also known for the beloved children's song 'Tihо se sipe parviyat syag'.
