Thambirajah Thangavadivel, born on 28 February 1941, is a prominent Sri Lankan Tamil civil servant and politician. Known colloquially as London Muruga, he served as a land use officer and was affiliated with the Tamil National Alliance in politics. Thangavadivel was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Batticaloa District in the 2001 parliamentary elections, representing the interests of his constituents. A devoted Hindu, he hails from Araipattai in the Batticaloa District.
