Thomas Battenstein was a German guitarist and music producer born on February 18, 1951, in Düsseldorf. He started playing guitar at 16 and became a professional musician in 1976. He was part of the political rock band M.E.K BILK and later the pop rock band NOX NOX. Battenstein founded his own label TOMTE MUSIC and released numerous albums focusing on instrumental guitar music. He authored an autobiography in 2020 and released several Christmas albums. He passed away on June 6, 2023.
