Zhina Montilla Ávila, born on October 1, 1979, in Cebu, Philippines, is a singer, songwriter, model, and graphic artist. She grew up in Iloilo and Manila. Zhina is the daughter of María Gilda Montilla and the late Gil Montilla II. She earned a degree in Communication Arts with a major in Journalism from De La Salle University. In 2002, she was the female vocalist for a new version of the song 'No Limits', produced under the name Bakshelf and sponsored by Churchill Insurance in the UK.
