Kolokani, also known as Kokolani, is a town in Koulikoro, Mali, located at the crossroads of the RN6 and RN16 roads, approximately 120 kilometers southeast of Bamako. The town has a tropical savanna climate, with hot, dry summers and warm, rainy winters. Kolokani's history dates back to the 19th century when it was a trading post on the trans-Saharan trade route.
