Vyazemskiy, a town in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia, is situated at the confluence of the Khor and Ussuri rivers, 150 km east of Khabarovsk. The town was founded in 1894 as a station on the Trans-Siberian Railway and named after the Russian writer Pyotr Vyazemsky. The town has a humid continental climate, with cold winters and warm summers. Vyazemskiy is a major transportation hub and industrial center, with a population of over 14,000 people.
