Aqsū is a town in the Pavlodar Region of Kazakhstan, located at the confluence of the Irtysh and Ertis Rivers. It has a continental climate with cold, snowy winters and hot, dry summers. Aqsū was founded in the 18th century as a Russian military outpost and later became a trade center. Today, it is a small town with a population of around 10,000 people.
