Cepleniţa is a village in Iaşi County, Romania, with a population of 2,059 as of 2011. The village is located in the north-eastern part of the county, 20 km from the city of Iaşi. The climate is temperate continental, with an average annual temperature of 10.5 °C. The village has a rich history, dating back to the 15th century. The main historical monument is the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos, built in 1528.
