Dundalk, also known as D"ndok or Dún Dealgan, is a town in County Louth, Ireland, located on the east coast of Ireland, about 80 km north of Dublin. The town has a population of about 39,000 people. The weather in Dundalk is temperate, with mild winters and cool summers. The town has a long history, dating back to the 6th century. It was once a major port and trading center, and was also the site of a number of battles during the Irish Rebellion of 1641. Today, Dundalk is a thriving town with a diverse economy.
