Kobrinskoye is a town in the Leningrad Oblast, Russia, located on the banks of the Neva River, 30 km east of Saint Petersburg. The town has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold, snowy winters. Kobrinskoye was first mentioned in the 16th century and was originally a small fishing village. In the 18th century, it became a shipbuilding center and grew rapidly. Today, Kobrinskoye is a major industrial center with a population of over 100,000 people.
