Novara di Sicilia, Sicily, Italy, also known as Novara Sicilia or Nuvara, is a small town located in the northeastern part of the island, at an elevation of 240 meters (787 feet) above sea level. It has a temperate climate, with average temperatures ranging from 10°C (50°F) in January to 25°C (77°F) in August. The town has a rich history dating back to the 13th century, when it was founded by the Normans. It was later ruled by the Aragonese and Spanish, and finally became part of the Kingdom of Italy in 1860. The town's heritage is reflected in its architecture, which includes churches, palaces, and other historical buildings.
