Oradour-sur-Glane is a village in the Limousin region of France, approximately 15 kilometers west of Limoges. The village has a temperate climate, with average temperatures ranging from 10°C to 15°C throughout the year. The village has a rich history, having been founded in the 10th century and later becoming a center of the French Resistance during World War II. The village was destroyed by the Nazi SS on June 10, 1944, and remains as a preserved memorial to the victims of the massacre.
