Pūrnia, also known as Purnea, is a city in the state of Bihār, India. It is located in the north-eastern part of the state, on the banks of the Kosi River. The city has a tropical climate, with hot summers and mild winters. Pūrnia has a rich history and heritage, and is home to many historical and religious sites. The city was founded in the 16th century by the Mughal emperor Akbar, and was once a major center of trade and commerce.
