Qindu, also known as Qindu Qu, is a district of Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province in central China. Located in the Guanzhong Plain, the district has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and cold, dry winters. Qindu has a rich history, dating back to the Qin dynasty when it was the capital of the Qin state. The district is home to several historical sites, including the Qindu Mausoleum, the tomb of the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang.
