Tarnos, also known as Tarnose, is a town in Aquitaine, France, located on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, about 10 kilometers southwest of Bayonne. The town has a humid subtropical climate with mild winters and warm summers. Tarnos has a rich history dating back to the Roman era, and its heritage is reflected in its architecture, including the Romanesque church of Saint-Vincent and the 16th-century Château de Tarnos.
