Madison Heights, Virginia, is a town located in the Blue Ridge Mountains at the intersection of U.S. Route 29 and State Route 60. It has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters. The town was founded in 1873 as a railroad stop and was named after President James Madison.
