Třeboň, also known as Wittingau, is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, situated at an elevation of 430 meters above sea level. The town has a temperate oceanic climate, with warm summers and cool winters. Třeboň has a rich history, dating back to the 13th century when it was founded by the Lords of Rosenberg. The town's heritage is reflected in its well-preserved medieval architecture, including the Town Hall, the Plague Column, and the Church of St. Giles.
