Trillo is a municipality in the province of Guadalajara, Castille-La Mancha, Spain. It is located on the banks of the Tagus River, 115 kilometers northeast of Madrid. The climate is Mediterranean, with hot summers and cold winters. Trillo has a rich history, dating back to the Roman Empire. The town was conquered by the Moors in the 8th century and reconquered by the Christians in the 11th century. Trillo is home to several historical monuments, including the Church of San Martín, the Convent of San Francisco, and the Palace of the Counts of Trillo.
