Kettering, England, United Kingdom, is a market town in Northamptonshire, situated 22 miles (35 km) northeast of Northampton and 78 miles (126 km) north of London. It has a temperate climate with warm summers and mild winters. Kettering's history dates back to the Iron Age, and it was granted a market charter in 1227. The town's heritage is reflected in its many historic buildings, including the Grade I listed St Peter and St Paul's Church and the Grade II listed Kettering Town Hall.
