Lubartów is a town in eastern Poland, located in the Lublin Voivodeship, approximately 25 kilometers north of Lublin. It is situated on the Wieprz River and has a temperate climate with warm summers and cold winters. Lubartów was first mentioned in historical records in 1445 and was granted town rights in 1543. The town has a rich history and heritage, including a Jewish community that flourished in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, Lubartów is a modern town with a population of around 22,000 people.
