Yeysk is a port city in Krasnodarskiy, Russia, situated on the shore of the Yeisk Estuary in the Sea of Azov. With a humid continental climate, the city experiences warm summers and cold winters. Yeysk's history dates back to 1848, when it was founded as a military fortress. It later became a major port for grain and oil exports, and is now known for its shipbuilding industry and popular tourist destination.
