Middleburg, Florida is a small town located in Clay County, approximately 15 miles southwest of Jacksonville. The town's subtropical climate features hot, humid summers and mild winters. Its history dates back to the early 19th century, when it was known as Black Creek. The town was renamed Middleburg in 1870 and has a rich heritage, including a historic downtown area and several antebellum homes.
