Agoura, California, is a small city in Los Angeles County, located about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. It has a warm Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. Agoura was founded in 1927 and incorporated as a city in 1982. The city is home to several parks and open spaces, including the Agoura Hills Recreation Center and the Chumash Indian Museum.
