Buenavista is a municipality in the province of Marinduque, Philippines, located on the island of Marinduque. It is situated in the southwestern part of the island, bounded by the municipalities of Gasan to the north, Boac to the east, and Mogpog to the south. The municipality has a tropical climate, with an average temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. It is known for its beautiful beaches, lush forests, and rich cultural heritage. The municipality was founded in 1850 and was named after the patron saint of the town, Nuestra Señora de la Buenavista.
