Dhule, also known as Dhūlia, is a city in the northwest of Maharashtra, India. It is located on the banks of the Panjhra River, at an elevation of 227 meters (745 feet) above sea level. The city has a tropical climate, with hot summers and mild winters. Dhule has a rich history, dating back to the 10th century when it was ruled by the Yadava dynasty. The city was later ruled by the Marathas, and then by the British. Dhule is known for its ancient temples, including the Bhadrakali Temple and the Someshwar Temple.
