Medyka is a village in south-eastern Poland, located in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, close to the border with Ukraine. The village has a humid continental climate, with warm, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Medyka has a rich history, dating back to the 14th century. It was once an important trading center and was granted town rights in 1569. The town was destroyed during World War II and was rebuilt after the war. Today, Medyka is a small village with a population of around 1,000 people.
