Puerto Lápice is a municipality in the province of Ciudad Real, in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It is located in the south of the province, in the comarca of Campo de Calatrava. The municipality has an area of 142.62 km² and a population of 1,037 inhabitants (INE 2020). The town is located on the Camino Real, the main road between Madrid and Andalusia, and was once an important stopping point for travelers. The climate is typically Mediterranean, with hot summers and mild winters.
