Qianquan, also known as Huangbei, is a town in the Huangbei District of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. It is located at the southern foot of Dabie Mountains, with a latitude of 30.8712600 and a longitude of 114.3725800. The town has a subtropical monsoon climate with an average annual temperature of 16°C (61°F) and an average annual precipitation of 1,200 mm (47 in). Qianquan has a long history, dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period (771-476 BC). It was once a major transportation hub and commercial center. The town is home to several historical and cultural sites, including the Qianquan Ancient City, the Huangbei Museum, and the Dabie Mountain Martyrs Cemetery.
