Serock is a town in Masovian Voivodeship, Poland, located on the east bank of the Vistula River, about 30 km northeast of Warsaw. The town has a population of about 5,000 people. The climate is temperate, with warm summers and cold winters. The average temperature in January is -2°C, and the average temperature in July is 19°C. The town was first mentioned in the 12th century, and it received its town charter in 1417. Serock was an important center of trade and commerce in the Middle Ages, and it was also a popular resort town for the nobility. The town's heritage includes a number of historical buildings, including the 15th-century Church of St. Lawrence, the 17th-century Town Hall, and the 18th-century Palace of the Bishops of Płock.
