Wolsfeld is a municipality in the district of Bitburg-Prüm, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the Eifel mountains, near the border with Luxembourg. The municipality has a population of about 900 people and covers an area of 8.5 square kilometers. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 0°C in January to 20°C in July. Wolsfeld was first mentioned in a document from 1096. The village was part of the County of Vianden until 1794, when it became part of France. In 1815, Wolsfeld became part of the Kingdom of Prussia. After World War II, it became part of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The village is home to a number of historical buildings, including the Church of St. Martin, which was built in the 12th century.
