Yanaul is a town in Bashkortostan, Russia, located at the confluence of the Yanaul and Izyak rivers, approximately 220 kilometers west of Ufa. The town has a humid continental climate, with warm summers and cold winters. Yanaul was founded in 1789 as a village and was granted town status in 1991. It is known for its historical significance as a center of Bashkir culture and its proximity to the Bashkir National Park.
